Fill out an application today to run for President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer! + To be eligible for the $500 cash scholarship, you must attend the whole day and complete the requirements + All first-time college students (those with 3 or fewer college credits) are encouraged to come to the New Student Orientation on Friday, Jan 20 at 9:30 am in the Mike Benge Building + If you don't have a laptop for Week 1 classes, please find another way to attend. Relatives or friends cannot pick the up nor can we mail them out. + Laptops must be signed out in person by the student. + To set up a pick-up time, go to and they will be available in the tech building + If you have never recieved a laptop from SGU and are enrolled in a degree program at SGU, you can pick up a laptop starting on Tues, Jan 23. + A copy of your logins and passwords for your SGU email, JICS, and Google Email will be emailed to your personal email account on Saturday morning.

+ Students will receive a welcome email from instructors this weekend telling them how to get into their classes and how to attend week on. + Returning students who just need updated paperwork but have complete files will have until the end of the add/drop period to send theirs in (Feb 10) or they will not be allowed to continue in classes. Look for an email from New students (including transfers) who have not completed enrollment paperwork (application, release of information, HS transcript, transfer transcripts, copy of ID) will not be enrolled in classes this semester if the paperwork is not in by 4pm on Friday. Please check your email to see if you are missing anything. + Many students still have paperwork that needs to be turned in to the Registrar's office so that your file can be updated. + Education - Business - Human Services - Lakota Studies - Nursing - Institute of Technology - Arts and Sciences/Undecided/Environmental Science - Art Institute - Paperwork? Don't get dropped!! Fri at 4pm is the deadline - if you miss this you have to wait another semester. + If you DID complete the pre-regisration survey but have NOT spoken with an advisor to pick out your classes, you are almost out of time. + Note: If you did not complete our pre-registration survey, you are not eligible to register this semester.
